Directions to the Gallery

From SF, Marin, Hwy 580, Hwy 24: Get on Hwy 80 and take the Powell Street exit. Take Powell St. east to Christie and turn left. Look for the signs.

From Hwy 880, get on Hwy 80 and take the Ashby/Shellmound exit. Turn right on Shellmound Street. Follow Shellmound Street to Shellmound Way (in front of the Hyatt House Hotel) and turn right. Then turn right on Christie and go to 59th Street.

On surface streets (Berkeley, Oakland) from Stanford: Go west on Stanford and it will turn into Powell Street. Turn right on Christie Avenue and go to 59th Street.

On surface streets (Berkeley) from University and 6th Street: Go south on 6th St. and stay on it as it turns into 7th and then crosses Ashby. The street will then make a sharp right turn and a sharp left turn at the back of Ashby Lumber. At this point the street becomes Hollis. Stay on Hollis and turn right on 65th Stree; left on Christie to 59th Street.

Non-driving visitors can take the Emery Go-Round (Shellmound/Powell Street Route) from the MacArthur BART Station and get off at Christie and 59th (at Kinkos). To return to BART, get back on at the same stop.
