The 2025 guest jurors are Suzy Locke, Independent Art Advisor and Appraiser and Jeff Nathanson, Interim Executive Director, Richmond Art Center and former Director, Museum of Sonoma County.

Lund, Richard Misrach, Richard Greenstone, and Lynne Turner; printmakers Jill McLennan and Kazuko Watanabe; Michele Théberge, Mari Andrews working in mixed media; sculptors Ken Kalman, Heather Van Winkle, and Roger Bash; textile artists Ana Lisa Hedstrom and Marian Alonso; and master woodworkers Alison J. McLennan, and Roberto Gastelumendi. The works in the 39th Annual Art Exhibition are for sale.
“Thirty-nine years is a record breaking run for a small, largely volunteer arts organization,” said juror and exhibition designer Kathleen Hanna. “I am privileged to be a part of Emeryville Celebration of the Arts for the last fourteen years and always excited to see the variety and scope of the work produced in this very special community by the Bay.
“Emeryville boasts a unique and diverse community of talented artists and I am proud to be a juror for this year's exhibition,” said juror Jeff Nathanson. “I was honored to be a juror for the 10th Annual Emeryville Exhibition in 1997 and I am thrilled to be back for the 39th. Over the years a lot has changed in Emeryville, and what impressed me most about this year is how the number of exceptional artists has grown.”
“As a long time art advisor, studio visits have always been an essential component in getting to know the artist behind the art,” said juror Suzy Locke. “The artists I visited presented the professionalism, sincerity, and dedication required to succeed in their chosen fields. The conversations, although too brief, continued to reinforce my respect for each artist and the Emeryville Arts community as a whole.”
Each year the exhibition space is donated by a local Emeryville business. For the fourth year in a row, Oxford Properties Group has generously offered the space for the Annual Exhibition at Public Market Emeryville. Situated at the south end of this lively artisan food destination, exhibition visitors will find ample parking and dining options and even a Saturday morning Farmer’s Market.
The Annual Emeryville Art Exhibition is sponsored by Emeryville Celebration of the Arts, Inc.
