From the opening night Zoom Party to the Closing Zoom event, the 34th Annual Emeryville Art Exhibition was online due to Covid pandemic, with the exception of the outdoor banner hunt throughout the City of Emeryville.
The Ekphrastic Poetry Workshop was held by Sarah Kobrinsky via Zoom on Sunday, October 18, 2020. She also hosted the corresponding Poetry Reading of the participants' poems on Thursday, October 29, also via Zoom.
Outside, in the City of Emeryville, there was a banner hunt. There was a prize package of our popular banner tote filled with uniquely Emeryville gifts from INNA Jam, Jered's Pottery, The Suspender Factory, The Emeryville Public Market, Sarah Kobrinsky's poetry collection Nightime on the Otherside of Everything, and more, for being the first to find all of the 31 banners hung throughout the city.
It was a difficult time for everyone, but we managed to find a new way to hold the 34th Annual Exhibition.
