Metal signs from original paintings by Joseph Oddo are installed
along Bellevue Avenue in the Lake Merritt Bird Sanctuary.
They were created to call motorists' attention to the safety of birds
living in the nation's oldest bird refuge created in 1870.
Proceeds from the sale of these original art works will provide funds for additional signs.
